Shipping Policy

All of our chocolate boxes and products are carefully packaged and secured to ensure they arrive in the same excellent condition they left our shop. 

Shipping method within CANADA:
We ship accross Canada using trusted carriers.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, size of the parcel and the weight of the parcel.
Delivery times vary depending on province and carrier selection.
Once shipped, delivery timelines are the responsibility of the carrier.
Please provide a street address as we do not ship to P.O. Boxes
Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping and billing information is accurate. We are not responsible for delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.

Shipping method within United States:
At this time, all U.S. orders are shipped exclusively via: FedEx International Connect Plus.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, parcel size and weight.
We complete and include all required customs documentation for your shipment.
Delivery timelines are determined by FedEx and may vary depending on destination and customs processing.
Processing time:
Standard processing time is 24 - 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day, which is Tuesday. We are closed on Mondays.
During peak seasons or promontional periods, processing times may be slightly extended.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order has been fulfilled.
Fresh Baked Products:
To ensure optimal freshness, orders containing fresh baked goods are shipped Mondays and Tuesday only.
If your order includes baked goods and other items, the entire order will ship according to this schedule.
Warm Weather Shipping:
Chocolate is temperature sensitive. During periods of extreme heat, we may:
Delay shipment to avoid prolong transit exposure.
Use insulation packaging and dry ice packs when necessary.
While we take every procaution to protect your order, we cannot guarantee product conditiobn once it has left the shop. We are not responsible for melted or damaged items due to:
Extented exposure to heat after delivery.
Packages left unattended.
Carrier delays beyond our control.
We strongly recommend monitoring tracking information and retrieving your package promptly upon delivery.
Refund Policy:
At Rousseau Chocolatier, all of our merchandise is carefully packaged and we stand behind its quality. Due to the delicate nature of our product, we are not responsible for damaged product, shipping delays or any other circumstances beyond our control which may occur during transit.

If the postal service attempts delivery and fails to locate a person to receive the parcel, we are not held responsible for replacing or refunding the order. Please note all pricing is subject to change without notice.
