Chocolatier Production Assistant
Role: Rousseau Chocolatier Production Assistant
This is a maternity leave contract, effective now until December 31, 2023. Flexible daytime schedule, 30-40 hours per week. Health benefits. Hourly wage based on experience. Candidate must have baking / chocolate experience.
Purpose: Assisting the Head Chocolatier and production team to support the creation, production and innovation of all Rousseau products.

Responsibilities: Production Assistant
- Assist with kitchen activities and duties on a daily basis under the direction of the Production Manager and/or Head Chocolatier
- Produce premium products by following Rousseau’s standards for quality and efficiency
- Ongoing communication with the Front of House team in regards to wholesale/catering/event order coordination
- Ensure kitchen is clean and tidy at all times
- Follow sanitizing schedules and protocols
- Educate front of house staff Product Knowledge on an ongoing basis
- Occasionally assist the Front of House Team by serving customers when needed
- Key performance indicators include sales targets, professional inventory usage targets, and order completion targets
